Membership of the
California Bird Records Committee, 1970–2007

Three-year terms for Members (M) commenced at the end of 1976, with a mandatory one-year (minimum) sabbatical after six years’ service. In early 1997 the traditional role of Secretary (S) transmuted into the positions of Chair (C) and non-voting Secretary, with the Vice-Secretary (V) becoming the Vice-Chair. Since early 1998, minimum one-year sabbaticals have been mandatory after three years’ service. Membership decreased from ten to nine members starting in 2006.
